TEXAAN

The purpose of the TEXAAN Awards Program is to recognize dedicated individuals who have contributed to the field of academic advising.  TEXAAN offers the following awards:

  • Academic Advising Administrator Award
    The award is for an individual who may provide direct academic advising services but whose primary responsibility is an administrator or director of an academic advising program.
  • Outstanding Academic Advisor Award
    The award is for an individual whose primary role at the institution is direct delivery of academic advising services to students.
  • Faculty Advisor Recognition Award
    The award is for an individual whose primary responsibility is teaching and who spends a portion of their time providing academic advising services to students.
  • TEXAAN Scholarship Award
    The award is for an individual who is pursuing an undergraduate, graduate, or doctorate degree whose primary role at the institution is direct delivery of academic advising services to students.
